Bahram’s musical journey began at childhood. He started by learning Persian classical music, mastering Santoor as his first instrument while attending Iranian Cultural and Art Institute.
Later as a young man his attraction to different genres of music was the inspiration to learn other instruments such as piano, accordion, guitar and drums. Bahram has been teaching music for decades and has worked towards establishing several Persian classical music and pop bands. His mission is to help Yaran band to become an environment for young and old musicians to produce, perform and record soul elevating music.

I, Neda Dehghani (Ziaei), was born in 1982 in Isfahan, Iran, into a Bahá’í family with a rich appreciation for music. Inspired by my mother’s melodies and my siblings’ artistic talents, I developed a passion for rhythm and singing at a young age. At 17, I began learning the daf at the Isfahan Conservatory of Music, later studying with esteemed teachers such as Ms. Azadeh Kaviani and Ms. Nasim Vakili. After immigrating to the U.S., I resumed my musical journey with Master Nima Niktab through the Aram Art Institute in Dallas. Currently, I collaborate with the Yaran band, performing on instruments like the daf, frame drum, cajón, and darbuka, and contributing as a backing singer. My favorite genres include pop, traditional Iranian, regional Iranian, and fusion. For me, “music is the universal language of mankind.”
Roya began her singing journey through solo and group performances in school morning programs and events. In 2020, she started taking classical Persian singing classes to deepen her skills, and in May 2023, she became a member of the Yaran band.

My name is Makan Kamel I was born in Tehran Iran. My passion for music started when my brother’s friend left his musical instrument (Tombak) behind and I started making sound out of it. My brother observed that and he bought my first musical instrument for me. After exploring the Persian classical music I developed more passion for different genres of music. My goal is to serve and bring joy to people. My biggest achievement is being able to perform with Irving symphony orchestral.
Music has always been a driving passion in my life, whether through playing instruments, DJing, songwriting, or recording. Over the years, I’ve explored different facets of the musical world, which has deepened my appreciation for its transformative power. Currently, I serve as the drummer for the Yaran Band, where I also take on responsibilities for audio mixing and recording. For me, music is more than just sound; it’s a universal language that has the power to connect people and uplift spirits. My vision for the Yaran Band is to spread joy, inspire others, and foster musical talent. I hope to create opportunities for dedicated individuals to refine their skills, grow as artists, and bring happiness to others through the gift of music.
